Because it was him? Was he suggesting— “I think I’ll just go use the shower now.” His tone, though soft, was somewhat dismissive. Loki rose from the bed, completely unashamed of his nudity, and started towards the bathroom. He was still acting so coldly towards him, despite his confession. Or perhaps it was the confession itself which had him upset. But beyond his upset there was something else in his eyes, in his posture. Don was seeing just a bit of that sadness in his friend turned lover that he had seen the day they met, the devastation of being delivered displeasing news, and the heartache of coming to grips with it.
